Lunesta

By now, you’ve seen the TV commercial for LUNESTA, a prescription sleeping pill. In the TV ad some attractive woman takes a pill and has a day glow butterfly swoop in through a window, hover above her while she drifts off to a blissful night’s sleep.

Right.

If I go to bed and some day glow freakin’ butterfly somehow gets thru my window and hovers over my body, I’m not going to sleep for a  week!!!  I’d be thinking that my past has finally caught up to me and my synapses are lined up ready to fire at will on my nodding off brain.

Seriously, the guy who came up with this ad campaign has done way too many drugs if he thinks that day glow butterflies hovering above us are really restful and will ensure a good night’s sleep.
